The future of health is integrative.
More people than ever are seeking a new kind of health. Health that’s integrated, and more sustainable. It’s not enough anymore just to manage pain and treat symptoms. We have to look at the body as a whole to find the core issues that create pain patterns.
It’s time for a new approach to bodywork.
At the Ankrum Institute, you will find a bodywork training unlike any other. We teach practitioners to focus on interconnections among the body’s many systems. Our students learn to speak the language of the body to discern the origins of dysfunctions, release the tensions and patterns that keep those dysfunctions active, and then allow the body’s intelligence to restore ease, balance, and vitality.
Uniting manual therapy with myofascial work, visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy, the Ankrum Institute trains practitioners in a global way of working that combines depth and subtlety to amplify the health in every system, allowing you and your clients to become partners in wellness.
I chose the Ankrum Institute because of the outside-of-the-box thinking. The approach Leigh teaches us applies many different techniques and modalities. She also has us understanding that the treatment plan is in each individual body, rather than doing a formulaic series of techniques, a standard deep tissue, etc. Each client feels listened to and heard about their issues.
